Privacy Policy
Interna stores core OJT records on your device. This policy explains the limited online processing used by optional features and the controls available to you.

Data Handling
Data We Handle
Profile & OJT Configuration
Student name, course, school, company, supervisor, required hours, OJT date range, work-week preference, reminder settings, security preference, and theme preference are stored locally.
Duty Logs & Timer Data
Task descriptions, quantities, dates, time-in and time-out records, and active stopwatch timer sessions stored locally.
Proof Photos & Captions
Photos captured or selected for duty documentation are kept in app-controlled local storage and can be included in reports and backups you choose to create. Proof photos are not sent to AI providers.
Reports & Learning Reflections
Generated narrative summaries and weekly learning notes are saved locally when you choose to save them.
Exports & Backups
PDF, DOCX, CSV, and JSON backup files are created only when requested. After export, copies are stored wherever you choose to save or share them and are no longer controlled by Interna.
Website Preference
This privacy-policy website stores only your light or dark theme choice in browser local storage. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Network Use
Optional Online Processing
AI Writing Features
When you request an AI narrative or learning-note suggestion, Interna sends the text needed to prepare that result. This may include profile details used in the report, current and earlier task descriptions, dates, times, quantities, and a learning note you entered. Review workplace information before submitting it.
AI Content Handling
The request is sent over HTTPS through Interna's service provider to an AI provider. Interna does not write the prompt, generated response, or proof photos to its service database. AI providers process submitted text under their own terms and privacy practices.
Service Operation & Security
When online report or reward-credit features are used, Interna processes a pseudonymous app-install identifier, basic app and device information, network-derived security signals, platform integrity results, and usage or reward status. This information is used to operate usage limits, validate rewards, maintain service security, and prevent abuse.
Rewarded Ads
If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google Mobile Ads processes the information needed to deliver and verify the ad. Interna requests non-personalized ads, but Google's processing remains subject to Google's privacy policy and your device or regional consent settings.

AI Processing
Google Gemini
Processes text submitted for AI narratives and learning-note suggestions.
Ad Network
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Delivers optional rewarded video ads for earning AI credits. Uses non-personalized ad requests.
Backend Services
Supabase
Hosts online request processing, usage controls, service-security records, and reward-credit validation. Interna does not use Supabase user accounts.

May process the same submitted AI text if the primary AI service is unavailable.

Data Governance
Retention & User Controls
Local Records
Local data remains on your device until you edit or delete supported records, clear the app's storage through device settings, or uninstall the app. Deleting a duty log also removes the proof-photo files managed for that log.
Service Records
Pseudonymous usage, reward, and security records are retained only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. They do not contain your complete local OJT history or proof photos.
Data Portability & Backups
You can export records to PDF, DOCX, CSV, or a standalone JSON backup. Backups may contain readable profile information, logs, saved narratives, learning notes, and embedded proof-photo data. You control the retention and deletion of exported copies.
Your Choices
You may avoid AI and rewarded-ad features, disable reminders or biometric lock in Settings, and manage camera, photo, notification, and biometric permissions through your device. You can edit or delete duty logs and saved reports inside Interna. To erase all local app data and files, clear Interna's storage through device settings or uninstall the app.
Deletion Requests
Interna has no user account to delete. For questions or requests concerning pseudonymous online-service records, contact us below. Because these records are not organized by name or email, we may need reasonable information from you to locate an applicable record.
Security
Interna uses platform app storage, HTTPS for online requests, restricted backend access, and optional operating-system biometric authentication. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Age & Educational Use
Children's Privacy
Interna is intended for students and trainees managing internship or OJT records and is not directed to children under 13. If a school, guardian, or supervisor permits a minor to use Interna, they should provide appropriate guidance and consent. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information and must obtain permission before photographing people, workplaces, or confidential materials.

We may update this policy when Interna's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date shown at the top identifies the latest published revision. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate app or store update when required.
